Seeking to contain the mass spread of the deadly coronavirus, several states on Monday effectively sealed their borders to stop the movement of migrant workers rendered jobless due to a nationwide lockdown, but FMCG firms flagged non-availability of trucks and labour as a major challenge in ensuring the supply of essential goods. The SC took notice of these challenges.
