Expressing solidarity with students and citizens protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi in a televised message accused the BJP government of using brute force to suppress dissent and showing utter disregard for people's voices. She said the party is fully committed to defending fundamental rights and constitution.
