The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) on Wednesday restored Cyrus P Mistry as chairman of Tata Sons. The direction of Mistry’s reinstatement will become operational after four weeks, giving Tata Sons time to move SC. The NCLAT also said that Tata Sons’ move to become a private limited company from a deemed public company was unlawful and directed a reversal in its status.
